Stage design for RAINBOW DISCO CLUB, one of Japan’s largest and most renowned outdoor music festivals, that has attracted attention on the dance music scene in Japan and around the world. Originally scheduled to be held in April 2020, it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and instead, readapted as a 12-hour streaming event.

We design the stage for the festival every year, but as a streaming event, we came to wonder: "Can we represent the event as a symbol?”

This led to us to creating a minimal expression, made solely using lines to draw a frame.

日本のみならず世界のダンスミュージックシーンでも注目される野外フェスティバル「RAINBOW DISCO CLUB」のステージデザインを担当。2020年の開催は、4月に予定されていたものの、新型コロナウイルスの影響により中止に。かわりに12時間におよぶ配信イベントとして開催されました。

毎年、同フェスティバルでのステージデザインを行っていますが、配信での開催のため“記号としてイベントを表現できないか？” という考えから、フレームのみの構造で線で描けるほどミニマルな表現にしています。
