Presented at MUTEK.JP 2017, the world's leading digital art and electronic music festival, held in November 2017, held at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Tokyo.

The work is dedicated to Isao Tomita, a leading figure in synthesizer music in Japan. Using his signature work, Clair de Lune, we synchronized the lighting of 49 Kinetic Lights systems to the music, where each sphere represented a different type of sound. The amount of light represents the volume and the position of the sphere represents the pitch, making this work a redefinition of sound through a visual interpretation of space.

世界最先端のデジタル・アート＆エレクトロニック・ミュージックの祭典「MUTEK.JP 2017」で発表した作品。本フェスの開催は2017年11月。会場は東京・日本科学未来館。

作品は、日本におけるシンセサイザー音楽の第一人者である冨田勲へ捧げたもの。彼の代表作「月の光」を使用し、音楽に49個のキネティック・ライツ・システムの照明を同期させ、音の種類をそれぞれの球体で表現。光量がボリューム、球体の位置が音程を表わし、音を空間の解釈で再定義する作品となっています。
