A one-night-only warehouse party presented by AFTER LIFE, a techno party based at the Tokyo club Mitsuki, with support from Liquid Drop Groove.

Rather than concealing the warehouse’s exposed columns, walls, and raw industrial structure, the spatial design embraced the darkness and physical character of the site as part of the experience.
A single laser beam crossed the space behind the DJ booth. Emerging through the haze as a sharp line of light, it functioned not merely as stage lighting, but as a visual icon for the night itself.
As the beam drew a boundary through the darkness, it simultaneously blurred the distinctions between DJ and audience, architecture and body. Through a minimal gesture of light, the warehouse was transformed into an immersive space for sound.

東京のクラブ〈翠月〉を拠点とするテクノパーティー「AFTER LIFE」が、Liquid Drop Grooveのサポートのもと開催した、一夜限りのウェアハウスパーティー。
倉庫に残された柱や壁、剥き出しの構造を覆い隠すことなく、その場所が持つ暗さや粗さを空間演出の一部として捉えました。
DJブースに設置したのは、空間を横断する一本のレーザー光。スモークの中に浮かび上がる鋭い光の線を、ステージを照らすための照明ではなく、この夜の空間を象徴するアイコンとして使用しました。
光は暗闇に境界線を引きながら、DJとオーディエンス、建築と人の輪郭を曖昧にしていく。最小限の光によって、倉庫そのものを音楽のための没入空間へと変容させる試みです。
