Stage design for RAINBOW DISCO CLUB, one of Japan’s largest dance music festivals, which has been held annually in Shizuoka and Higashi-Izu since 2015.

The stage design was designed to answer of the organizer's requests to create a symbolic form for the festival. After an original idea of using a black mirror ball as the symbol for the dance floor, we pursued a shape that would make the best use for the mirror ball, which resulted in a pyramidal shape. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of Rainbow Disco Club was held as a streaming event. RGB was also in charge of the stage design for that event, in a more toned down design than for the regular editions.

日本発のダンスミュージックフェスティバル「RAINBOW DISCO CLUB」でのステージデザインを担当。2015年以降、静岡・東伊豆で毎年開催。

「象徴的な形がほしい」という主催者の要望をもとに考案したステージデザイン。ダンスフロアの象徴であるミラーボールを黒くし使用するという案があり、そのミラーボールを活かせる形を追求し、ピラミッド型となりました。ステージは、回を重ねるごとにバージョンアップをさせています。2020年は、コロナウイルスの影響により本フェスティバルは配信のみで開催。そのステージデザインも担当し、本開催のものよりも削ぎ落としたデザインにしました。
